Optimizing Digital Transformation Merits to Sustain Humanizing Technology

The Innovation Product Competition and the International Innovation Technology Expo 2024 Proceeding are two prominent events that showcase groundbreaking advancements in technology and products.

INNOVATION PRODUCT COMPETITION

Requirement

  1. The participants are the active high school students, either Indonesian students or international students
  2. Each team consists of 4 high school students and 1 supervisor for each innovation product
  3. Each participant is allowed to submit more than one innovation product
  4. Each participant is required to follow Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta's Instagram account @poltek_indonusa and IITE 2024 Instagram account @iite_indonusa
  5. Each team proceeds the registration to the committee along with the payment of IDR 100.000 or USD 12 (for international students)
  6. One payment is applied for one team with one product innovation in one category
  7. In the registration form, the participant is required to send a payment receipt and screenshot as proof of following Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta & IITE 2024 Instagram account.

Product Requirement

  1. Collective project consists of 4 high school students and 1 supervisor per team
  2. Innovation product is the original work of the participant
  3. Work originality is not under dispute or claims from other parties
  4. Innovation product shall have a highly beneficial impact
  5. Each team is required to make a video about an innovative product with a total duration of 3-5 minutes
  6. Video are uploaded to Google Drive via the registration link provided on the IITE website: https://bit.ly/WebIITE2024
  7. Ensure that the product video link is accessible
  8. Product shall not contain pornography aspect and trigger conflict or hostility within ethnic, religious, racial, and intergroup groups (SARA)

  2. Participants will receive an auto-reply email after registration

Selection & Assessment

For the Innovation Product Competition, selection is carried out in 2 stages:

Step 1

Selection of innovative product videos that have been uploaded by competition participants. Video selection is carried out by the assessment team based on creativity, innovation, and suitability of innovative products with the theme

Step 2

Participants who pass the selection in stage 1, will proceed to stage 2, namely the presentation stage of the innovation product to see how the work is done. Finalists are required to make presentation slides in PPT form. The presentation will be held via video conference (maximum 5 minutes) followed by a question-and-answer session with the jury for 5 minutes. The total duration of online judging is 10 minutes.

ASSESSMENT

Assessment criteria cover theme coherence, innovation level, originality, and aesthetic aspects

Assessment Point:

  • Innovation Product Video: 20%
  • Innovation Level: 40%
  • Product Excellence: 30%
  • Presentation: 10%

Requirement

The e-Poster that will be displayed at the 2nd International Innovation Technology Proceedings 2024 event, is made by paying attention to the following provisions
  1. 1 (one) poster in Softfile format, A4 Portrait Orientation (21cm x 29.7cm);
  2. The poster consists of several components including:
      Introuction
      Method
      Results
      Conclusion
  3. The poster must contain the title, committee logo and Author's University logo, background/introduction/abstract, Method, Results (text and images/photography/schemes), Conclusion, References (additional), Contact details (email address), Information The background should be brief and directly related to the problem (Objectives - Methods - Findings - Conclusions and Suggestions);
  4. The committee logo can be downloaded via the link provided by the organizer
  5. Posters should be readable and clear
  6. The recommended linespacing guideline is 1.2 spaces
  7. Use sub-headings with a size larger than the text (you can also underline/use bold)
  8. Use no more than 2 typefaces/fonts
  9. Do not use all capital letters
  10. Margins must match the size of the columns
  11. E-poster layout design must pay attention to the principle of formal-non-formal balance, namely symmetry-asymmetry, the principle of unity in the arrangement of image elements, colours, backgrounds, movements directing the reader's eyes to flow throughout the poster area
  12. Consider hierarchy and contrast to show the emphasis of objects or things that are prioritized
  13. The contents of the poster must be readable in a structured manner for ease of navigation
  14. The poster is made with computer application software (with graphs, tables accompanied by photographic documentation results which are highly recommended)
  15. The document is saved in PDF format with a minimum resolution of Max. 5 MB (clear and not blurry)
  16. Posters are presented online on July 31, 2024 in the form of a “video recording” with a duration of Max. 5 minutes
